Reedville VA

We headed over to the Virginia coastline today, 10/31/14, to look for better storm and wind protection. Up the Cockrell Creek and up to the quaint town of Reedville. The people here are unbelievably friendly and warm. From the Folks at Cockrell Seafood and Deli ( owner wanted me to take her car to get to the hdw store, then she sold us a paint brush for a buck instead, and has offered and is picking up a couple grocery items for us for tomorrow; how kind is that!)... To the new owner of Chitchat Homemade Ice Cream on Main Street. Yummy ice cream! The best I've ever tasted. To folks saying hello as they decorate for Halloween tonight. It's a tiny town, amenities are about 3 miles away but this hospitality is wonderful. And beautiful up in this waterway...

Speaking of yummy--fresh rockfish and crab for dinner!

Anchorage near 61, the red tent shape:

Phenomenal sail from outside Asquith at 58 to outside of Reedville at 59. Glorious sailing day!
