The Rocna anchor was soooo very dug in we needed to power it out with the boat's engine (and snubber) and not the windlass. We weren't budging in those high winds. As much as it was loud outside the last2 days, there's something very reassuring about a big anchor and a safe harbor in a Nor'easter.
One more thing about lay-over days, they're great for baking. The apple gallette last night was utterly delicious.
