The old windlass comes off

As you can see we are removing the old teak deck at this point and in order to get the deck planks out from under the old windlass, the old windlass has to come off.....somehow??? Get out the old trusty jig saw...

Bringing Iemanja back to vermont

So we set sail from Northport NY on Long Island bound for Iemanjas new home......for the time being anyway......

Winter in Vermont. An epic snowshoe day up near jay peak

Bette and I love to play outside in the winter......I guess that's why we live where we live.  They say that as one gets older, they like the cold less. Don't think it's happening with us just yet. This snowshoe hike happened on New Years Eve about an hour north of where we live here in Vermont. It was a picture perfect day as you can see.
